Cozy movies and series about food, travel & simple joy
Movies and series centered on food, restaurants, travel, gentle romance, and feel-good stories — perfect for calm evenings and weekend relaxation

If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know I’m a foodie. Not only because I love to eat and photograph everything, but also because I can easily spend hours watching films and series about restaurants, plating, culinary traditions, and how certain dishes or products came to life.
My close friends know how obsessed I am with the That Built documentary series on the History Channel. It’s not just about food; it covers companies, products, retail, innovation, and the cultural impact behind everyday things.
But the food-related seasons are my personal favorites. They go deep into the history of everyday ingredients, popular snacks, and the stories behind brands we all know. It’s the kind of content that feeds both curiosity and appetite.
Since the weekend is coming, I wanted to share a selection of films and series focused on one of my biggest passions — food and the simple joy around it. In this article, you’ll find several categories:
Holiday Romance & Feel-Good Films
European Food, Love & Adventures
Food & Restaurant Comfort Films
Baking, Pastry & Chocolate
Food & Travel Series
Everything here is light, pleasant, and easy to watch. I intentionally didn’t include heavy dramas or anything emotionally exhausting. Most of these are about good meals, beautiful settings, small stories, and the atmosphere around food and life pleasures.
I also separated Christmas-themed films into a different article. I wanted this list to stay focused on food itself, while giving holiday films their own space, so you can choose depending on the vibe you want.
Enjoy the list, and I hope you find something delicious to watch this weekend.
